Check results securely

Use WAEC Ghana’s official result-checking service and protect the candidate’s index number, PIN and serial information. Avoid sending credentials to people advertising result checks in public groups.

Read the complete placement

  • Candidate name and index number.
  • Placed school and location.
  • Programme of study.
  • Residential status.
  • Reporting date and official instructions.

Verify with the school

Use a phone number, website or office channel that can be verified independently. Ask about reporting documents, prospectus, health information and any official payment process. Do not rely on a mobile-money request forwarded by an unknown person.

Keep an enrolment file

  • Printed result and placement records.
  • Copies of submitted forms and receipts.
  • Verified school contact details.
  • Medical or accessibility information the school needs.
  • A written list of unresolved questions.
