Check results securely
Use WAEC Ghana’s official result-checking service and protect the candidate’s index number, PIN and serial information. Avoid sending credentials to people advertising result checks in public groups.
Read the complete placement
- Candidate name and index number.
- Placed school and location.
- Programme of study.
- Residential status.
- Reporting date and official instructions.
Verify with the school
Use a phone number, website or office channel that can be verified independently. Ask about reporting documents, prospectus, health information and any official payment process. Do not rely on a mobile-money request forwarded by an unknown person.
Keep an enrolment file
- Printed result and placement records.
- Copies of submitted forms and receipts.
- Verified school contact details.
- Medical or accessibility information the school needs.
- A written list of unresolved questions.
